Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision—many of which do not always have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses, both as eyeglass lenses and contact lenses.

Our optometrist takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.

SAMPLE DESCRIPTION
Dr. Eye Seewell grew up on the coast of Maine in the town of Bucksport. Having bad eyes as a young child and watching his grandfather go blind from macular degeneration, Dr. Seewell developed an interest in optometry at an early age. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Pre-Med from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Dr. Seewell then decided to escape the cold New England winters and moved to California where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree form the University of Californa Berkeley School of Optometry in 2000.

Dr. Seewell moved to Lexington, Kentucky and started his practice in Nicholasville in 2000. He is active in the community and regularly provides vision screenings at local schools as well as supporting the OneSight program. In his spare time Dr. Seewell loves to play tennis and read books on ancient History. He is an accomplished chef much to the delight of his family.
